History
With the need for a friendly firearm store in the Black Hills and Sturgis, SD; Sturgis Guns was started by gun enthusiasts, Justin and Tammy Bohn in 2014. Tired of visiting firearm stores and being ignored and/or treated rudely by employees with the “know it all” or “why do you want that” gun guy attitude, we decided to start our own store.

Change – We are constantly on the lookout for new firearms to add to the Sturgis Guns arsenal. We add new inventory in our store and website daily. Please check back often for specials, new offers, and sale items. We are not stuck in the old gun store ways. If you know something or know of a product that we don’t have, tell us – we want to hear from you.
Expertise – We do not claim to be experts. In today’s digital world, the customer is the expert. You know what you want. We are here to serve you. We do have a tremendous amount of knowledge and will guarantee to be honest. The firearm industry is constantly changing. If we don’t know, we will find the answer for you.

Gunsmithing and Service – We have the best gunsmithing and repair department in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Our staff that can handle everything from cleaning, warranty repairs, frame stippling, night sights to full on custom guns. In addition, we offer Cerakote and Duracoat. We also utilize the many firearm business that are located in Sturgis, SD. King of the Mountain; Long Rifles, Inc.; Lane Silencers; Mack Brothers; and others.
Consignment Services – We love consignments! Consign your new or used firearms and accessories with us. Maybe you have something that you no longer like or you purchased something and its not right. Bring it to us and we will sell for you. With the highest tourist traffic in the Black Hills and Sturgis, SD – we will get your used firearms and accessories in front of the right customer. The potential customer comes to our store and not your home.
Payment Methods – We accept all major credit or debit cards, cash, acceptable check. There is a 3% fee for using a credit or debit card. Layaway and pawn options available.
